A heavy-duty blanking (sealing) plug designed to seal off unused M40 × 1.5 metric threaded cable gland entries. Ensures protection of enclosures by preventing dust, moisture, and contaminants from entering unused ports, while maintaining integrity of environmental ratings.

Usage & Installation Notes

• Confirm that the hole or gland entry is properly threaded M40 × 1.5.

• Clean threads and sealing surfaces before installing.

• Tighten until the O-ring or gasket just seals; do not over-torque or risk thread damage or seal deformation.

• Choose material appropriate to environment: brass for rugged / high-temperature / corrosion resistance, or plastic / PA versions for lighter-duty or explosive-atmosphere versions (EX rating).
